I just recently upgraded VMware's VirtualCenter 2.0 to VirtualCenter 2.5, and when that happened, I lost the ability to add one ESX 3.0.2.  What made this even crazier is that I could add another ESX 3.0.2 server.  Well, the blogs and the communities were not as helpful, and after a night of sweating how to get the server back into the VirtualCenter, I bit the bullet and called VMware.  As it turns out, the fix is pretty simple.
