Random thoughts, musings and ideas as I travel through this thing called life.

Just found this post on the epic-fu blog.   It's awesome!

I am going to be giving a presentation in April about incorporating ASP.Net AJAX and DotNetNuke Module Development.  If you have any questions (or suggestions) please drop me a line.  For more info, www.dnnug.com

There is a  DNN User group meeting this evening.  The topic is Skinning.  Location is 10330 Old Olive Blvd, ST. Louis MO at approximately 7PM.

I upgraded to Vista over the weekend, and one of the most common question I get is "Is it worth it?"  My only response is "It sure looks sexy!"  Up until this morning I was actually ok with everything.  Then I tried to load a DotNetNuke source project into VS2005.  The extra service pack not with standing, It wouldn't load the web site project of the system.  I kept getting this stupid message:

Just found a really good resource for DotNetNuke development/administration.  Check out Mitch Seller's information at www.mitchsellers.com.  He's got some great information for beginners and advanced users alike.

Well, last night I updated my DotNetNuke installation from 4.5.5 to .4.8.  So far, all I've done is turned on human friendly urls, but I have to say from an SEO perspective, I am really excited about this.  Without the ids in the url now, it's much easier to write consistent links across the site.  As long as you know the parent page(s) and the page name, just remove all of the spacing and you're good to go.

Most of those who know me know that I do not watch a lot of TV.  But on the rare occassion I do watch TV, I tend to find something that I usually like.

Well, it's 11:45PM CST, I'm listening to my iTunes collection playing a game of email catch with some coworkers while finding out some interesting things about dotnetnuke.

It has been way too long since I've blogged, and I've got a few updates.  Since October, I've gone to OpenForce, explored DotNetNuke, and assisted in the running of the St. Louis DotNetNuke User Group.  I'll post later this evening when I have more time, but expect some stuff about OpenForce and the STL DotNetNuke UG.

 Welcome!
